I don't know if anyone actually reads this blog regularly, but the update with the third volume is that its laid out and ready to go, but will be waiting just a little bit longer. Physpo Vol. 3 Comin' Atcha

A new Physpo is in the works! "ALTARS," a collaborative project by Seth Landman (who runs a lil' mag called "Invisible Ear") and Seth Parker (proprietor of "Skein" magazine), is being committed to InDesign for a release in September. It looks to be as exciting if not more brilliant than our previous issues. Physpo will never be the same.

Something marvelous is taking ahold of me.
Matthew Timmons, L.A. writer, curator, and editor, is guest editing Vol. 2. I don't think I could have asked for a better second volume: a group of writers from the opposite corner of the country from the contributors to Vol. 1. Along with Matthew's work, this volume is slated to include work from Harold Abramowitz, Stan Apps, Ara Shirinyan, and others.

It seeks you out. It smokes you out of your cave. It seeks to brand you with its burning desire.

The books all have been lovingly hand-sewn and sitting in a box next to me now. Soon, they will be disseminated to the ten or so people we know who might want them. And, hopefully sooner than that, I will figure out how to put Paypal up so you can buy buy buy.

Marie Buck has had work appear in HOW2, Shampoo, Glitterpony, Coconut, and Womb Poetry Vol. 1: Hives and Covens, among other places.

Brad Flis’ chapbook, Health Pack, was published by The Chuckwagon. He has had work appear 1913: a journal of forms, Aught, Shampoo, Gutcult, and recently, Poets on Painters, a catalog for the Ulrich Museum of Art.

Lawrence Giffin has a chapbook, The Great Crystal Castle, forthcoming from Minus House Press. He has had work appear in Skein and Glitterpony.

Steven Zultanski’s chapbook, Homoem, was publish by Radical Readout press. He has had work appear in Antennae, and Skein, among other places.

I, babe in arms, drink no men or women alike.

Cut short the confession. I observe Katie and Tom.

I grin: I’ve been ensconced.

I would tell them the story about a beautiful baby girl.

Before asking her to marry him, he transformed himself into an angel.

My life is brilliant, no holds barred.

And that’s what I, Suri, am: the joy.

Enjoy the lady once more. Soon

you will be on top of the world.

We laugh. From the looks of things, you’re already there.

The house has the feeling of a sprawling lodge or chalet.

It is perfect.

There are stories upon stories exchanged.

A breathtaking sunset descends on the southwest ridges.

This is my family, and I care so much about them.

I see not how you can quit this place without being known.

The Physical Poets Home Library is an anthology of writing by small groups of friends across North America, self-editing each volume. Since autonomous editorial oversight is left in the hands of each volume's participant editors, no form or genre will be sanctioned. We at lil' Norton only ask that work chosen for each volume should be easily and cheaply reproducible. Contact information regarding purchases and editorships will be available soon.
